Internationally exhibited artist and professional illustrator, I an as well as a creative, productive and adventurous ceramist creating original surrealist narrative works. My works primarily with hand-built and thrown high-fire stoneware with original designs using sgraffito and mishima techniques, inspired by Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Mexican and medieval European ceramics. Finished works range from food-safe functional items such as bowls, plates and jugs to decorative pieces of jewellery, badges, wall hangings and sculptures, as well as personalised bespoke gifts. 

 

Inspired by her creative sketchbooks & imagination, each piece is unique and offers a wonderful insight into my curiosity of wildlife, nature, surrealism and daily life. All designs are free-hand carved and painted with highly trained hands, patience and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship.  

 

My ceramic works have recently been exhibited and sold by Breeze Creatives (Marley Fair and Abject Gallery, Tyne & Wear), Cupola Gallery (Sheffield), Woodhorn Museum (Ashington), Tarpey Gallery (Derby) and will join Potfest in the Pens, 2 - 4 June, 2023.
