‘The Portable Life’ is a new collection of enclosed ceramic objects. Inspired by artificial natural spaces like zoos, aquariums, aviaries and etc., these narrative objects represent miniature habitats and their distinctive approaches to adaptation. When held in the hand, viewers are invited to perceive the ‘weight’ of a microcosm of life and to explore the relationship between existence and habitat.
